There are more Lake Tahoe summer activities than you could ever fit into one trip. You can explore the majestic Sierras hiking or mountain biking, splash in the turquoise water that’s so clear it looks tropical, play a golf round on one of the manicured courses, or drive a boat or jet-ski to one of the secret coves. There is something to do for every age and ability. You can expect temperatures around 80°F/26°C during the day and 50°F/10°C at nighttime. The lake can be fairly cold at the beginning of the summer, but it will continuously warm up throughout July and August and it will be at its warmest in September when it reaches 68°F/20°C.
