Research reveals Mexico has one of the least ‘calorific’ Mcdonald’s in the world

The research also revealed the following:
  • Israel has been named as the country with the lowest calorie count out of the meals reported. Total calories in the country are 729, which is 260 less than Japan.

  • South Korea’s Big Mac has the highest number of calories with 583 in total. The lowest calorie Big Mac goes to Israel with just 396.

  • The award for most calorific fries goes to Japan with a whopping 410 per medium portion. The lowest is in Mexico where a medium fries is just 288 calories. That's a difference of over 100 calories.

  • In the same foods reported in the research, it is those in Turkey which contain the most saturated fat (22.20g), with Israel being the lowest (5.02g).

  • Turkey also topped the list as the country with the highest salt content (4.50g), whilst again, Israel was named the lowest (2.46g).
